This was another cricket ground associated with the recreational facilities for staff working at the Weston’s Biscuits (now known as Burton’s) factory at Llantarnam. Opened in 1939, the factory produced at it’s peak, around 40,000 tonnes of biscuits, including some of the most well-known brands including Jammie Dodgers and Wagon Wheels.
