Tom Smith, a right-handed batsman, played for Glamorgan during their List A friendly in 2016 against Pakistan A at Spytty Park, Newport.

His sole appearance for the Welsh county came when the former pupil of Clifton College and the Gloucestershire Academy was a triallist with Glamorgan 2nd XI. With the match against the Pakistani tourists staged in between a hectic programme of red-ball and white-ball games for the Welsh county’s 1st XI, the game at Newport saw several fringe and 2nd XI players having an outing,

Tom has also played for the MCC Young Cricketers, Sussex 2nd XI and Somerset 2nd XI, in addition to appearing in Minor County cricket for Dorset and Wales Minor Counties. He plays club cricket for Lydney CC.
