All-rounder Zain ul Hassan is a right-arm seamer and left-handed batter who came through the Worcestershire Academy before making his List A debut for the West Midlands side against West Indies A during 2018.

He subsequently played for Herefordshire in the National Counties competition, as well as appearing in the Birmingham League for Stourbridge, Barnt Green and Barnards Green. After a successful spell with the South Asian Cricket Academy, he trialled at Glamorgan during 2022 and made an immediate impact with both bat and ball and secured a contract with the Welsh county for 2023.

Zain duly made his first-class debut for Glamorgan against Sussex at Hove in mid-May 2023.
