Tom Helm – who was on Middlesex’s playing staff – joined Glamorgan on loan during 2014 with the fast-medium bowler appearing in four first-class games.
Tom had graduated from the Middlesex Academy onto the county’s full-time staff in 2012, with the Buckinghamshire-born seam bowler also being a member of the England Potential Performance Programme based at Loughborough University.
In 2013 Tom appeared in two List A games for Middlesex, before making his Championship debut against Yorkshire at Headingley. During his time on loan with Glamorgan , the 20 year-old pace bowler claimed seven wickets and showed good potential with his lively fast-medium bowling with Tom subsequently playing for England Lions.
