Ted Fletcher, a wicket-keeper with Cardiff CC, played once for the Welsh county, having been chosen for the visit to Trowbridge to play Wiltshire in 1906.
The 29 year-old was a draughtsman by profession and he completed a stumping off the bowling of Harry Creber shortly before the home side cruised to a ten-wicket victory. Having made 5 and 0, it was Ted’s sole contribution to their win.
