Stuart Harrison, who played for Glamorgan during the 1970s, is the father of David and Adam, who progressed in their father’s footsteps from club cricket with Panteg to professional cricket with the Welsh county.
The tall seam bowler progressed from the county’s Colts and Welsh schoolboy teams during the late 1960s into the Glamorgan 1st XI in 1971. Stuart, however, opted for a career in education and after training at Caerleon College of Education, he began a successful career as a schoolmaster in Monmouthshire.
Stuart has also served on the Glamorgan committee and remains an avid follower of the Welsh county.
