Steve Reingold

Steve Reingold was a member of Glamorgan’s victorious team in the Royal London Cup in 2021 as well as playing in the County Championship contest against Essex at Sophia Gardens.


Born in Cape Town, the right-handed batter and off-spinner attended the Jewish Free School in London before studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University where he came to Glamorgan’s attention after some excellent performances for the UCCE team, including a century against Nottinghamshire during a pre-season tour to South Africa.


A member of Stanmore CC, Steve had also played for Middlesex 2nd XI between 2017 and 2019, before making his debut in the latter season for Glamorgan 2nd XI and being part of their squad which won the Second Eleven T20 competition. In 2018 Steve, together with his father Marc, who played representative cricket for Western Province and South African Schools, as well as his elder brother, played cricket in the Maccabi Games.
