
Russell Green, a tall fast-medium seamer, played Minor County cricket for Suffolk in 1982 and 1983 before joining Glamorgan for 1984.
The right-arm bowler from Bury St. Edmunds CC failed to win a regular place in the Welsh county`s side and after just a couple of first-class appearances, as well as playing in a pair of List A games, he returned to Eastern England. Russell subsequently re-appeared for Suffolk, as well as playing in the Benson and Hedges Cup for the Minor Counties between 1987 and 1989.
