
Robert Pook played once for Glamorgan during 1990, but he failed to score in either innings against Oxford University at The Parks.
The right-handed batsman had been on the MCC groundstaff between 1985 and 1988, and in the latter season played for Essex against Cambridge University at Fenner’s. During his time at Lord’s he also played for Middlesex 2nd XI.
Whilst attached on Glamorgan’s staff in 1990, Robert played for Cardiff CC. He subsequently emigrated to Australia where he continued to play in grade cricket and he now runs a coffee-making company based in Queensland.
