Robert Morris

The son of Vernon Morris, Robert was educated at Blundell’s School and, whilst at the famous public school in Tiverton, he won a place in the Public Schools XI which played at Lord’s in August 1944. A few weeks later, the schoolboy made his Glamorgan debut against the Anti-Aircraft Command at Newport. It proved though to be his only appearnce for the Welsh county/

He enjoyed further success the following year for the Devon school, besides appearing again for the Public Schools at Lord’s, before going up to Cambridge.
