
Peter Lawlor had a fine career in club cricket as a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler for St. Fagans CC, and was a member of the team which won Haig Village Cup Final at Lord`s during 1991.
He represented the Welsh Schools and made his debut for Glamorgan’s 2nd XI during 1980. He made further appearances the following summer which also saw him make his sole first-class appearance against the 1981 Sri Lankans at Sophia Gardens.
During the 1980s Peter also played for Wales against Ireland, Denmark, the MCC, Cambridge University and Zimbabwe. His son Jeremy played for Glamorgan between 2015 and 2019.
