He played for the Gentlemen of Glamorgan in the two-day friendly against the Gentlemen of Carmarthenshire at Stradey Park, Llanelli on 15 and 16 July 1913. Batting at number nine, he top-scored with an unbeaten 37 in their first innings before being promoted to the number five slot second time around. However, he only made 14 as the home side recorded a very rare victory as they won by 53 runs.
