Nathan McCullum followed in the footsteps of his brother Brendon by having a brief spell with Glamorgan during 2013 during which he featured in the Welsh county’s T20 matches.
The Kiwi had signed for Glamorgan after the ICC Champions Trophy competition in which he had played at Sophia Gardens. His accurate off-spin filled the void left by Robert Croft’s retirement the previous summer, with Nathan duly proving to be a useful foil to Dean Cosker’s left-arm spin. With Marcus North, the Club’s overseas player for red-ball cricket, unavailable for the match at Old Trafford, Nathan also appeared in the Championship game against Lancashire and duly completed a five-wicket return.
Nathan retired at the end of the 2014/15 season having appeared in 84 One-Day Internationals and 63 International T20 games for New Zealand. He also appeared in several T20 franchises around the world and played for Lancashire in their T20 games during 2010.
