Born in Pembrokeshire and educated in Ceredigion, Michael White was a chemical engineer based in Swansea. He played for the town club and his one appearance for Glamorgan in a Minor County Championship game in 1909 came about when he was called up as a late replacement for the unwell Tal Whittington on the morning of the contest against Carmarthenshire at St. Helen’s.
He did not let anyone down and made a steady 17 in what proved to be his only appearance for the county. Michael subsequently became HM Inspector of Factories in South Wales.
