Lew Reason, who played once for Glamorgan in 1920, was the youngest son of Henry Reason, the owner of the Cape Copper Works in Jersey Marine in Swansea.

The former pupil of Neath Grammar School and Queens College, Taunton began his medical studies at St.Mary’s Hospital in London in 1914, during which time he also played rugby for London Welsh.

During 1920 Lew emulated his brothers Tom and David by playing for Glamorgan in friendly against Carmarthenshire at Swansea. He had produced some decent performances with bat and ball for Neath CC, but he failed to score in what proved to be his only game for the Welsh county.
