Kim Norkett played in one Sunday League match for Glamorgan in 1974, with the former pupil of Monmouth School playing against Hampshire at Basingstoke. Having impressed for Welsh Schools, the right-arm seam bowler and batter was on Glamorgan’s staff for two years but did not make another 1st XI appearance. Kim was also a useful rugby player, playing club rugby for Newport and Ebbw Vale, and subsequently became a schoolteacher.
