The county career of off-spinner Kieran Bull was plagued by a series of back injuries. After impressing in age-group for Wales and for both Carmarthen Wanderers CC and Neath CC, Kieran joined the Glamorgan Academy and made his 2nd XI debut in 2012. Two years later, Kieran made a successful first appearance in Championship cricket, with the youngster claiming four wickets against Kent at Canterbury in 2014. His elevation into the Championship side followed five wicket hauls against Derbyshire 2nd XI as well as 8/73 in the victory against Durham 2nd XI at Middlesbrough.

However, Kieran only made a handful of 1st XI appearances during 2015 after sustaining a back injury which prematurely ended his season. He returned to action with Glamorgan 2nd XI during the second half of 2016 and was their leading wicket-taker during 2017 and 2018. He returned to first-team action in 2019, but after playing against Gloucestershire at Spytty Park in Newport, his injury flaired up again and Kieran underwent further medical treatment.

Kieran played in 4 matches in the Bob Willis Trophy during 2020 but was released from the Glamorgan staff at the end of the season.
