John Storrie

Born and raised in Cardiff, John Storrie secured a professional position with the town club and, as a result, appeared for Glamorgan in their Minor County friendly with Monmoutshire at Ebbw Vale in June 1920. He claimed four wickets with his medium-pace bowling but was not called up again.

John subsequently played for Briton Ferry Town CC before moving to Scotland where he secured an appointment with Hawick CC.

His father was a schoolmaster in Cardiff and, after retiring from playing cricket, John secured employment working as a labourer on various farms in Cowbridge and the Vale of Glamorgan.
