John Bingham, a shopkeeper and confectioner in Cardiff, made one appearance for Glamorganshire, playing against Capt. Pearson’s XI at the Arms Park on 24 and 25 June 1872. He may well have been a late replacement as he scored 3 in the first innings but was absent when the county side batted for a second time.
