Jimmy Neesham, the well-travelled left-handed batter and right-arm seamer from Auckland, joined Glamorgan during late May 2026 to play in the Vitality Blast T20, following the recall of Faz Farooqi by the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
The 35 year-old played for the Welsh Fire during the inaugural year of The Hundred in 2021. He has also played in 12 Tests, 76 One-Day Internationals and 105 IT20 matches for New Zealand, in addition to having plenty of county experience playing for Derbyshire, Durham, Essex, Kent, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
Jimmy has also played in a number of global T20 franchises around the world, representing the Delhi Daredevils, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab, Mumbai Indians, Rajastan Royals, Hobert Hurricanes, Pretoria Capitals, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United and Dubai Capitals.
