Jeremy Lawlor appeared in six first-class matches for Glamorgan, as well as eleven white-ball games for the Welsh county between 2015 and 2019.

Educated at Llandaff Cathedral School and Monmouth School, Jeremy showed promise as an opening batsman and off-spinner, under the tutelage of former Somerset all-rounder, Graham Burgess, and won selection in Welsh age-group and junior Glamorgan teams

After some decent innings for the county’s 2nd  XI and Cardiff MCCU, Jeremy made his 1st XI debut against Kent at Sophia Gardens during September 2015. He bagged a pair but continued his development playing for the MCCU team for whom he scored 81 against Hampshire in April 2016. Jeremy also changed bowling styles to seam-up and it was in this guise that he returned his best figures of 3/59 against Sussex at Hove during a short spell in the 1st XI during 2018.

During 2019 he also made his debut in white-ball cricket for Glamorgan, with his List A scores improving with each appearance – 3, 16, 24, 38 and 48. He also made a breezy 43 opening the batting against Somerset at Sophia Gardens in the T20 competition but this was followed by a series of single-figure scores and, as with the County Championship, Jeremy subsequently lost his place in the Club’s line-up and was released from the staff at the end of the season.

His father Peter, a stalwart of St Fagans CC, played once for the Welsh county during 1981.
