Herbert Yorath, was the younger brother of Bruce Yorath and also played cricket for Canton CC and Cardiff CC, besides appearing once for Glamorgan during 1895.
His sole appearance at county level came during mid-July 1895 when Herbert was called up to play in the Minor County Friendly against Monmouthshire at Usk. He made 10, but was never chosen again. At the time of his selection he was a clerk to a colliery company at Cardiff Docks, and later became a highly successful coal salesman.
