Henry Hurle made his List A debut for Glamorgan in their Metro Bank One-Day Cup match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston in 2024. However, like fellow Old Monmothian Steve James in 1985, he never got onto the field on his 1st XI debut as rain curtailed the match.
The young batter and wicket-keeper joined the Glamorgan staff at the end of 2023 on a rookie contract having graduated through the Glamorgan Academy and Wales age-group teams. The former pupil of Monmouth School made his Glamorgan 2nd XI debut in 2022 before appearing for the England Under19s during 2023 in their series against Ireland and Australia.
Henry is currently a student at Cardiff University, and during August 2025, he played his first innings in 1st XI ranks as he batted at number three against the Notts Outlaws in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup match at Sophia Gardens. Later in the season he completed an assertive half-century against Worcestershire at New Road. Henry also captained the Cardiff UCCE team in 2026 and in their opening game against Northamptonshire, he scored 99.
