Harry Podmore, a seam bowler from Middlesex, had two short spells on loan with Glamorgan during 2016 and 2017, before joining the Welsh county on a full-time basis in 2023.

A graduate of the Middlesex Academy and Ealing CC, Harry had first appeared for Middlesex in one-day cricket during 2014 and 2015 before becoming a regular wicket-taker in Second Eleven Championship matches for Middlesex. His opportunities however were limited in Championship cricket so he agreed a loan deal with Glamorgan during April and May 2016 when Ruaidhri Smith and Jack Murphy completed their university commitments and injury rehabilitation.

He made his first-class debut in match against Kent at Canterbury, before a fortnight later appearing in Glamorgan’s Championship game against Gloucestershire at Bristol. He subsequently returned to Middlesex and continued to appear for them in white-ball cricket before making his red-ball debut later in the summer.

Harry returned to Wales during April 2017 when he appeared in a further two Championship matches when other bowlers were injured. That summer he also had spells on loan with Derbyshire and Durham, before agreeing terms with Kent in 2018 where he has subsequently become a regular in their attack in red-ball cricket, and won his Kent cap in 2019 having taken 54 wickets in first-class cricket that summer.

He has re-joined Glamorgan for 2023.
