
Hamish Rutherford, the New Zealand opening batsman, played for Glamorgan in 2021, appearing in their side which won the Royal London Cup at Trent Bridge, besides featuring in the closing four County Championship games of the summer.
The son of Ken Rutherford, Hamish scored 171 on his Test match debut against England in 2012/13. This was the first of sixteen appearances in Tests for New Zealand, prior to playing county cricket for four teams – Essex, Derbyshire, Worcestershire and Glamorgan.
