Freddie Williams, a carpenter in Llanelli, was a late replacement in the Glamorgan side for their Minor County Friendly against Carmarthenshire at Stradey Park in 1920. He made 0 in his first innings but met with better success in the second innings, against several of his team mates from Llanelli CC by making 24.

He had served as a pilot with the Royal Flying Corps during the Great War.
