Fraser Sheat, the 26 year-old right-arm seamer from Canterbury joined Glamorgan in August 2024 and duly made his County Championship debut against Derbyshire at Derby.
He went wicketless on his debut but picked up two wickets in his second appearance against Leicestershire at Sophia Gardens, besides displaying his batting talents by hitting a quickfire 34 as Glamorgan hastened towards a declaration. It had been hoped that Fraser would be available for the following match against Sussex at Hove, but he was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Born in Christchurch during 1998, Fraser made his first-class debut for Canterbury during the 2017/18 season and at the time of his signing by the Welsh county, he had claimed 103 wickets in first-class cricket at an average of 25, with his haul including three five-wicket hauls.
He is a graduate in Land and Property Management from Lincoln University in New Zealand and has experience of playing in English conditions having appeared for Middleton-on-Sea in the Sussex Premier League in 2023 and for Reigate Priory in the Surrey Premier League during 2024.
