
Born in Bridgend three weeks before Glamorgan won the County Championship in 1997, Sam Pearce played for the Welsh county in four T20 games during 2021.
Earlier in the season, the right-handed batter and leg-spin bowler had led the Cardiff UCCE team to success in the university competition. A former member of the Welsh county’s Academy, Sam made his debut for Glamorgan 2nd XI in 2013, besides having a short trial with Warwickshire during 2018. He has subsequently been a regular member of Bridgend CC and the Wales National Counties team.
