Aneurin Norman

All-rounder Aneurin Norman was on Glamorgan’s staff for two years during the early 2010s during which time he played in a trio of 1st XI matches.

Born in Cardiff and educated at Millfield School, Aneurin made his Glamorgan debut in one-day and four-day cricket in 2011, with his sole first-class appearance coming in the end of season game at Canterbury when an experiement took place with pink balls under floodlights.

The all-rounder had first played for Glamorgan 2nd XI in 2008 after some promising performances for Radyr CC and Welsh schools, before also appearing for Wales Minor Counties. Aneurin also appeared in one List A contest in 2012, besides acting as 12th man on several occasions, but he was released from the staff at the end of the season. He subsequently played for the Unicorns, besides having a brief trial with Derbyshire and playing for Mumbles CC in the South Wales Premier League.
