Since 31 July 2020 the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket has produced a series of fascinating podcasts. Hosted by Stephen Hedges and Alun Rhys Chivers they include audio interviews with a number of people associated with cricket – both professional and recreational – throughout Wales.
The highlights so far include the personal reflections on cricket from Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford AM, an interview with Prem Sisodiya – Glamorgan’s Young Player of the Year for 2020 – Welsh language chats with Edward Bevan, the long-serving BBC Wales cricket correspondent and Jeff Evans, the recently retired ECB umpire, as well as podcasts about cricket in Pontypridd, Aberystwyth, Panteg and Bangor, plus chats with those involved in women’s cricket in Pembrokeshire.
